Updated Notice to Year 11 Parents and Carers
Dear Parents & Carers of Year 11,
As you know I wrote to you last week explaining how we are planning to support your daughter at this extraordinary time.
I informed you that you would be receiving the first school report of this Academic Year for your daughter today.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the national picture regarding GCSE exams may have changed again, and we are awaiting further guidance before we release these reports.
I understand this will be very frustrating and disappointing for you and your daughter. Please can I reassure you we are working extremely hard and in close collaboration with colleagues in schools and other bodies across the country, to make sure we get this right and provide you with the most accurate information possible.
We are aware that sixth forms may already be requesting updated predictions, we are also communicating with them regularly, and they should be aware that these have not yet been released.
I will hopefully be in touch with more information for you early next week, but please be aware this will not affect the PPEs that are taking place after Half Term.
