Transition to Secondary School 2026

We understand that the move from primary to secondary school can feel like a big step. At St Ursula's Convent School, we are committed to making this transition as smooth and positive as possible for every student.

Throughout the summer term, we host a number of events to help our new Year 7 students feel comfortable and excited about joining us in September. These include taster lessons in a range of subjects, activities in our sports facilities, opportunities to attend school performances, and guided tours of the school.

Once students arrive at the school, they take part in a full transition programme designed to support their induction and ease any worries they may have. This valuable time allows us to really get to know each child as an individual and helps us plan for their success right from the beginning of their journey with us.
